When the initial Cylon attack against the Twelve Colonies fails to achieve complete extermination of human life as planned, twin Number Ones (Cavils) embedded on Galactica and Caprica must improvise to destroy the human survivors.
A TV movie that reframes the BSG pilot from the Cylon perspective, offering some interesting recontextualization for devoted fans but feeling largely supplementary rather than essential. The dual-Cavil structure is clever and Dean Stockwell delivers a reliably sardonic performance, but the plot is largely a greatest-hits remix of familiar scenes rather than genuinely new storytelling.
