An amusement park mogul offers a random group of diverse people $1 million to spend the night in a decrepit former mental institution.
This 1999 remake of William Castle's campy classic delivers some effective haunted-asylum atmosphere and decent production design, but stumbles with a convoluted plot, uneven performances, and an over-reliance on CGI-heavy scares.
