After learning that a brain aneurysm will kill him in about 90 minutes, a perpetually unhappy man struggles to come to terms with his fate and make amends with everyone he has ever hurt.
The Angriest Man in Brooklyn follows a fairly predictable high-concept premise—a dying man racing to make amends in a single day—that doesn't offer much fresh territory. Robin Williams and Mila Kunis do their best with underdeveloped material, but the script is uneven and tonally inconsistent, oscillating between dark comedy and melodrama without fully committing to either. The cinematography is serviceable but unremarkable, capturing Brooklyn without any particular visual flair. The ending, while emotionally intended, feels rushed and somewhat unsatisfying given the setup. The film ultimately squanders an intriguing premise and a capable cast.
