Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang become involved in a supernatural mystery in Egypt.
A standard direct-to-video Scooby-Doo adventure that transplants the gang to an Egyptian setting for a mummy-themed mystery. The plot follows the familiar Scooby formula closely — spooky villain, red herrings, unmasking — without much deviation. The Egyptian backdrop adds modest visual variety but the animation quality is typical for DTV fare of the era. Voice acting is competent and faithful to the franchise. The ending delivers the expected resolution satisfyingly enough for its target audience. Novelty is low as it recycles the well-worn Scooby mystery template with only a setting change to distinguish it.
