The Mystery Gang goes to Hawaii for the Big Kahuna of Hanahuna Surfing Contest. However, the gang and the locals find the island invaded by the vengeful Wiki Tiki spirit and his demons.
Aloha Scooby-Doo! is a standard direct-to-video Scooby-Doo outing that follows the well-worn formula: the gang arrives at a tourist-friendly locale, encounters a spooky villain, and unmasks the culprit. The Hawaiian setting provides mild flavor but doesn't elevate the storytelling. Plot, acting, cinematography, and ending are all competent but formulaic, landing solidly below average for animation as a whole. Novelty is equally modest — while the tropical backdrop is a fun change of scenery, the Wiki Tiki threat recycles the same 'monster turns out to be a human in disguise' structure the franchise has always used. It's enjoyable for its target audience but brings nothing distinctive to the table.
