Italian Race is a coming-of-age motorsport drama centered on a teenage female racing driver navigating personal and professional challenges. The premise offers modest novelty through its female-led motorsport angle and Italian setting, but the narrative arc follows fairly familiar sports drama beats. Acting and cinematography are competent for a mid-budget European production without standing out significantly. The ending appears to lack the emotional resolution or punch needed to elevate the story, landing as somewhat underwhelming given the buildup.
