A platoon of eagles and vultures attacks the residents of a small town. Many people die. It's not known what caused the flying menace to attack. Two people manage to fight back, but will they survive Birdemic?
Birdemic is legendarily inept across nearly every filmmaking dimension. The plot is threadbare and poorly constructed, with a meandering romantic first half that goes nowhere before the absurd bird attack begins. Acting is universally wooden and amateurish, delivering some of the most memorably bad performances ever committed to film. Cinematography is genuinely poor — shaky handheld work, poor audio sync, and technical failures throughout. The ending is abrupt and unsatisfying even by B-movie standards. Novelty earns a modest bump because the film has achieved genuine cult status as a singular piece of outsider cinema — its unique badness and earnest incompetence make it utterly unmistakable, a one-of-a-kind experience in the 'so bad it's good' canon.
