When Max, who is recovering from a traumatic accident, takes a job as a nighttime security guard, he begins to see visions of a young mysterious woman in the store's mirror.
Mirrors 2 is a by-the-numbers direct-to-video horror sequel that recycles the mirror-vision premise of the original with minimal creativity. The plot follows a predictable ghost-revenge template with little deviation, the acting is serviceable at best with flat characterization, and the cinematography is competent but unremarkable for a low-budget production. The film offers virtually nothing novel — it lifts its core concept wholesale from the first film and executes it formulaically, making Novelty a clear 1. The ending resolves in a thoroughly predictable fashion with no meaningful surprise or resonance.
