The End? (2017) is an Italian zombie comedy-horror that cleverly confines most of its action to an elevator shaft and building interior, giving it a claustrophobic single-location hook that distinguishes it from standard zombie fare. The plot is serviceable and leans into dark comedy effectively, though it doesn't fully capitalize on its premise. The acting is competent with Claudio Santamaria carrying much of the film adequately. Cinematography is limited by its confined setting and budget, feeling functional rather than inspired. The ending disappointingly deflates the tension built up throughout, feeling somewhat anticlimactic.
