Nothing to Hide is a French remake of the Italian film Perfect Strangers, itself already widely remade. The dinner-party-phone-sharing concept was novel at the source but feels derivative by this iteration. The plot is engaging and well-structured with escalating reveals, and the ensemble cast performs competently within the stagey, dialogue-driven format. Cinematography is functional but unremarkable, typical of chamber-drama adaptations. The ending provides reasonable dramatic closure but lacks the punch of the best versions of this story.
