Wedding Planner, Kelsey Wilson, is about to have her big break: planning her beloved cousin's lavish and exclusive wedding. Everything is going smoothly until Connor McClane, a devilishly handsome private investigator, shows up and turns Kelsey's world upside-down. Hired by a secret source, Connor quickly disrupts the upcoming nuptials but wins Kelsey's heart in the process.

The Quartile Take

Christmas Wedding Planner is a formulaic TV movie that hits every predictable rom-com beat without deviation. The plot follows a thoroughly recycled template — the disruptive outsider who wins the protagonist's heart while threatening the status quo — with no meaningful subversion or surprise. Acting is serviceable but unremarkable, fitting the TV movie mold. Cinematography is flat and functional, typical of low-budget holiday fare with little visual ambition. Novelty scores very low as this is essentially indistinguishable from dozens of similar holiday romance TV movies produced annually. The ending resolves exactly as expected with no earned emotional payoff.
