A group of unwitting sorority sisters accidentally awaken the serial-killing Leprechaun after they build a sorority house on his hunting grounds.
Leprechaun Returns is a competent but thoroughly formulaic direct-to-video slasher revival. The plot recycles the same gold-obsessed creature terrorizing young women formula with minimal invention. Acting is serviceable for the B-movie tier but unremarkable. Cinematography is functional and flat, typical of low-budget streaming productions. Novelty is low — despite some self-aware humor, it largely retreads the original's beats without a distinctive enough voice to stand out even within the creature-feature subgenre. The ending wraps up predictably with no surprising twists. It satisfies fans of the franchise and B-movie horror-comedy enthusiasts but brings almost nothing new to the table across any dimension.
