Wonder Woman: Bloodlines is a competent but unremarkable entry in the DC Animated Movie Universe. The plot feels episodic and overstuffed, cramming an origin story alongside a Villainy Inc. threat without giving either arc room to breathe. The voice acting is serviceable but lacks the gravitas of the character's best portrayals. Animation is functional and on-brand for the DCAMU style without pushing any visual boundaries. Novelty is low — it retreads well-worn Wonder Woman origin beats with minimal fresh perspective, feeling derivative of prior animated adaptations. The ending wraps up too neatly and fails to deliver a satisfying emotional payoff for the central mentor-protégé relationship.
