Quartile rating: 4.5/10 · 1 rating
Taking place on the last day of the Creeper’s twenty-three-day feeding frenzy, as the skeptical Sergeant Tubbs teams up with a task force hellbent on destroying the Creeper for good. The Creeper fights back in gory glory as its enemies grow closer than ever before to learning the secret of its dark origins.
Jeepers Creepers 3 is widely regarded as a disappointment even by franchise standards. The plot is thin and meandering, failing to deliver meaningful answers about the Creeper's origins despite promising to do so. Acting ranges from passable to weak throughout. Cinematography is competent but unremarkable, offering nothing visually distinctive. Novelty is very low — it retreads the same creature-feature formula of its predecessors without adding fresh ideas, and the long-delayed production only highlighted its formulaic nature. The ending is unsatisfying and feels like an unresolved cliffhanger that adds little closure.
