Quartile rating: 6/10 · 1 rating
An eclectic foursome of aspiring teenage witches get more than they bargained for as they lean into their newfound powers.
The Craft: Legacy largely retreads the familiar territory of its 1996 predecessor without meaningfully expanding the mythology or adding fresh ideas. The plot hits predictable beats—outcast finds coven, group gains power, conflict arises—without the original's cult edge. Acting from the young ensemble is competent and occasionally charming, elevating thin material. Cinematography is serviceable with some stylish moments but nothing visually distinctive. The ending, which attempts a twist reveal tying back to the original, feels rushed and unsatisfying rather than earned, undermining what little momentum the film builds.
