Senior year of high school takes center stage as Lara Jean returns from a family trip to Korea and considers her college plans — with and without Peter.
The third installment of the To All the Boys franchise follows a predictable YA romance arc — the couple faces college separation anxiety and a potential long-distance dilemma — without adding much narrative freshness. The Korean family trip offers some visual warmth and cultural color, boosting cinematography modestly, and the lead performances remain charming and earnest. However, the plot is formulaic even by the series' own standards, and the resolution wraps things up in a safe, expected bow. Novelty is low given it's a by-the-numbers sequel conclusion to an already well-trodden genre.
