Priceless is a charming French romantic comedy carried largely by Audrey Tautou's magnetic and physically committed performance as the calculating gold-digger Irène, with Gad Elmaleh providing warm comic counterbalance. The plot is a familiar screwball mistaken-identity romance with predictable beats borrowed from classic Hollywood fare, offering little structural surprise. Cinematography is pleasant and glossy, capturing the Côte d'Azur luxury milieu competently but without particular visual ambition. Novelty is limited — the premise of fortune-hunters finding genuine love is well-worn territory, and the film doesn't reinvent or subvert the formula in any meaningful way. The ending resolves sweetly but conventionally, satisfying without surprising.
