The Tooth Fairy is back. 15 years after the events of the first movie, Corey, now grown up but mentally scarred has gone to a class reunion. However, the Tooth Fairy is back, and this time - You better have flossed properly.
Return of the Tooth Fairy is a low-budget horror sequel that offers little beyond its niche genre appeal. The plot is formulaic — a grown-up survivor facing the returning killer at a reunion is a well-worn slasher template. Acting is serviceable at best for the budget level. Cinematography is competent but unremarkable, typical of micro-budget horror productions. Novelty is low given it recycles the original's premise with minimal fresh ideas, and the reunion setting does little to distinguish it. The ending wraps up predictably without memorable impact. Across the board, this sits solidly in below-to-average territory.
