Quartile rating: 5/10 · 1 rating
Set in Las Vegas, the film centers on a man who attends his best friend's bachelor party, unaware of an insidious agenda that plays into hunting humans.
Hostel: Part III is a straight-to-video sequel that relocates the franchise to Las Vegas but fails to capitalize on the setting in any meaningful way. The plot is formulaic and predictable, recycling the same torture-porn beats as its predecessors without adding fresh ideas. The acting is mediocre across the board, with a cast of largely unfamiliar faces delivering uninspired performances. The cinematography is flat and workmanlike, typical of low-budget direct-to-video productions. The novelty is minimal — shifting the location is the only real differentiator, and the film is otherwise a by-the-numbers retread. The ending offers little satisfaction or surprise. Overall a weak entry even by genre standards.
