After a traumatic miscarriage, Lola and her husband, Adolfo, adopt Tin and Tina, a lovely albino brother and sister with an ultra-Catholic education that makes them interpret the Holy Bible verbatim.
Tin & Tina has an intriguing premise blending religious extremism with horror, and the albino twins are genuinely unsettling as literal Biblical interpreters. The concept is distinctive enough to stand out in the crowded religious horror space, though it echoes films like The Children and Village of the Damned. The acting is competent with the leads handling the emotional weight of grief and dread adequately, and the cinematography creates a suitably oppressive atmosphere. However, the film struggles to fully capitalize on its premise, with the narrative losing momentum in its second half and an ending that feels rushed and somewhat unsatisfying rather than delivering a meaningful payoff.
