Incoming (2024) is a fairly standard teen comedy following four high schoolers through a chaotic party night — a well-worn premise executed competently but without much distinction. The plot hits familiar beats of coming-of-age embarrassment and bonding without subverting or elevating the genre. Acting is serviceable from a largely unknown young cast. Cinematography is functional and unremarkable for the genre. Novelty is low given how thoroughly the 'one wild night' teen comedy has been explored. The ending earns a slight bump for delivering a reasonably satisfying emotional payoff that ties the character arcs together adequately.
