An orphaned dinosaur raised by lemurs joins an arduous trek to a sancturary after a meteorite shower destroys his family home.
Disney's Dinosaur (2000) was technically groundbreaking for its time, blending photorealistic CGI dinosaurs with real-world filmed backgrounds to create stunning, distinctive imagery that still holds up as a cinematographic achievement. The novelty of its visual approach and the relatively unusual choice to feature mostly non-speaking animal protagonists gives it some distinctiveness, though the plot is a fairly standard 'orphan finds family and purpose on a journey' arc with a predictable villain and resolution. The voice acting is competent but unremarkable, and the ending wraps things up too neatly and conventionally to leave much of an impression.
