After the Sunset is a breezy but forgettable heist-comedy that leans heavily on the charm of its leads (Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek) to carry a formulaic and predictable plot. The Bahamas setting provides some visual appeal, but the cinematography is competent rather than distinctive. The cat-and-mouse dynamic between Brosnan and Woody Harrelson has moments of charm, but the story recycles familiar caper tropes without adding much freshness. The ending wraps up neatly but without much surprise or impact, consistent with its middling overall execution.
