Bullied by his boss, worked around the clock, he's nothing more than a corporate drone. All it takes is a zombie outbreak for him to finally feel alive!
Zom 100 has a genuinely fresh visual energy — the live-action adaptation leans into vivid, manga-panel-inspired cinematography with bold colors and kinetic compositions that make it stand out from typical zombie fare. The central premise (zombie apocalypse as corporate liberation fantasy) is a fun inversion of genre conventions, though the execution is uneven. The plot loses steam in its second half, struggling to maintain momentum as the bucket-list episodic structure grows repetitive. Acting is serviceable and enthusiastic but rarely transcends the material. The ending disappointingly rushes its emotional payoff and feels abrupt, undercutting the character arcs built throughout.
