After Porn Ends is a competent talking-head documentary that offers genuine curiosity value in its subject matter — the post-industry lives of adult film stars — but executes with fairly standard documentary conventions. The interviews are candid and occasionally revealing, giving it above-average plot engagement, but the cinematography is workmanlike and the subjects' performances vary widely in articulation and depth. The novelty is moderate: the subject is underexplored but the approach is conventional. The ending wraps up without much resonance or thematic cohesion, leaving the viewer without a strong concluding statement.
