After Doug picks up hitchhiking Rosco with his truck, they are mistaken for two bank robbers by the traffic police. They manage to escape only to be confused for two secret agents while trying to take a flight at the airport.
Go for It (1983) is a light Italian-style action comedy built on mistaken identity gags — a well-worn premise executed in a fairly formulaic way. The plot follows a predictable escalation of confusions without surprising turns, the acting is serviceable genre work without standout performances, and the cinematography is functional but unremarkable for the era. Its novelty is limited since the mistaken-identity road comedy was already a crowded subgenre, and the ending resolves things tidily but without particular flair. A solidly average genre picture across the board.
