The two brothers Trinity and Bambino are exchanged by two federal agents and take advantage of the situation to steal a huge booty hidden in a monastery by a gang of outlaws.
Trinity Is Still My Name is a fun but formulaic sequel to They Call Me Trinity, recycling much of the same slapstick humor and buddy-western dynamic. The plot is light and episodic, stringing together comic set pieces rather than building a tight narrative. Terence Hill and Bud Spencer have genuine chemistry and comedic timing that elevates the material above its thin script. Cinematography is functional spaghetti western fare without particular visual distinction. Novelty is modest — while the Trinity films helped define a comic western subgenre, this sequel largely retreads established ground rather than expanding it. The ending wraps up agreeably but without much surprise or emotional payoff.
