Jackass Number Two is a compilation of various stunts, pranks and skits, and essentially has no plot. Chris Pontius, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Bam Margera, and the whole crew return to the screen to raise the stakes higher than ever before.
Jackass Number Two is by design plotless — a pure stunt-and-prank showcase that scores a 1 in Plot not as a criticism but as a factual reflection. Acting is irrelevant in the traditional sense, though the cast's committed, charismatic personas elevate it slightly above the floor. Cinematography is functional and raw, capturing chaos adequately without any artistic ambition. Novelty gets a 3 because while the franchise formula was established in the first film, this sequel genuinely escalates the scale, creativity, and sheer audacity of the stunts in ways that feel distinctive within its niche — it's not merely repetitive. The ending (the music video closer) is a cult favourite but doesn't transcend the overall format enough for a higher mark.
