A by-the-numbers direct-to-video sequel that recycles the premise of the original without any of its wit or energy. The plot follows a formulaic underdog-team-versus-establishment arc with no surprises, the acting is serviceable at best, and the cinematography is flatly functional with no visual ambition. As a sequel that adds nothing new to the cheerleading genre and simply rehashes the original's structure with lesser execution, it earns a low Novelty score. The ending is predictably telegraphed from the opening minutes.
