A hyper-repressed and schlubby accountant (Jonas Chernick) strikes a deal with a worldly but disorganized stripper (Emily Hampshire): he'll help her with her crushing debt if she helps him become a better lover.
A serviceable Canadian rom-com with a reasonably charming central premise — the awkward-guy-gets-sex-lessons setup gives it some comedic energy and Jonas Chernick and Emily Hampshire have decent chemistry. The plot is fairly predictable once the deal is struck, hitting familiar beats of mismatched-pair romantic comedies without much surprise. Acting is competent but not memorable. Cinematography is functional and unremarkable, typical of low-budget Canadian productions. The ending is conventional and telegraphed well in advance, offering little emotional payoff beyond genre expectations. Novelty is slightly above average for its frank comedic treatment of sexuality within a sweet romantic framework, though it doesn't reinvent anything.
