Partysaurus Rex is a charming Pixar short that cleverly reimagines Rex as an unlikely party host in a bathroom rave scenario. The premise is simple but executed with genuine wit and energy, with the house music integration being a highlight. The animation is polished as expected from Pixar, and the short format keeps it tight. However, the plot is minimal even by short-film standards, and while fun, it doesn't push into truly exceptional creative territory. Acting (voice work) is solid but limited in scope given the format. The novelty of the bathroom party concept gives it a distinctive identity within the Toy Story universe.
