Infinity Castle delivers on the promise of the Demon Slayer franchise with breathtaking animation and fluid, visually inventive fight choreography that sets a new benchmark for theatrical anime — cinematography is genuinely exceptional. The plot follows the expected shounen battle structure with multiple Hashira vs Upper Rank showdowns, well-executed but not particularly complex. Voice performances are strong and emotionally committed across the board, though constrained by archetype-driven characters. Novelty is moderate — it perfects the Demon Slayer aesthetic rather than reinventing it, and as a sequel carries forward established formulas. The ending, being the first part of a multi-film arc, is intentionally unresolved, which limits satisfaction even if dramatically effective as a cliffhanger.
