Cinderella II is a direct-to-video anthology sequel that recycles the charm of the original without any of its magic. The three-story format feels padded and disconnected, with thin plots that resolve predictably. The animation is noticeably downgraded from theatrical quality, lacking the visual polish of the original. Voice acting is serviceable but unremarkable. As a follow-up, it adds little new to the Cinderella universe and feels formulaic even by sequel standards, earning a low Novelty score. The ending wraps things up neatly but without emotional resonance.
