Jackass 2.5 (2007)

Quartile rating: 6/10 · 1 rating

On Quartile, Jackass 2.5 scores 6/10 across five categories — strongest on Acting (Above Average), weakest on Plot (Below Average).

The crew have now set off to finish what as left over from Jackass 2.0, and in this version they have Wee Man use a 'pee' gun on themselves, having a mini motor bike fracas in the grocery mall, a sperm test, a portly crew member disguised as King Kong, as well as include three episodes of their hilarious adventures in India.

The Quartile Take

Jackass 2.5 is essentially a collection of leftover stunts and bits cut from Jackass Number Two, released directly online. The plot, as expected, is non-existent — it's purely a showcase of gross-out gags and dangerous stunts with no narrative structure whatsoever, earning the lowest possible score. Acting is irrelevant but the cast's natural charisma and chemistry gives them a slight edge. Cinematography is functional at best — handheld, raw footage typical of the franchise with no particular visual ambition. Novelty scores low as this is a straightforward extension of an already well-established formula with no meaningful evolution — it's literally leftovers from the previous film. The ending, like the rest, simply stops rather than concludes in any satisfying way.
