Quartile rating: 6/10 · 1 rating

The continuing adventures of Lilo, a little Hawaiian girl, and Stitch, the galaxy's most-wanted extraterrestrial. Stitch, Pleakley, and Dr. Jumba are all part of the household now, but what Lilo and Stitch don't know is that Dr. Jumba brought his other alien "experiments" to Hawaiʻi as well.

The Quartile Take

Stitch! The Movie is essentially a pilot film for the animated TV series, and it shows. The plot is thin and episodic, serving more as a setup for the show than a satisfying standalone story. The animation quality noticeably drops from the original film, with flatter visuals and less cinematic flair. Voice acting is competent but unremarkable, with some recasting noticeable to fans. The concept of 625 experiments is intriguing but barely explored here. The ending feels abrupt and unresolved by design, functioning as a cliffhanger to drive viewers to the TV series rather than providing genuine closure. It recycles the charm of the original without adding much that is new or distinctive.
