When Mr. Freeze kidnaps Barbara Gordon, as an involuntary organ donor to save his dying wife, Batman and Robin must find her before the operation can begin.
A solid entry in the DC Animated Universe that benefits from strong characterization of Mr. Freeze following his iconic 'Heart of Ice' episode. The plot is serviceable but fairly straightforward—kidnap, rescue, race against time—without the thematic depth of the best DCAU work. Voice acting is competent and faithful to the series. Animation quality is slightly above the TV show but not cinematic landmark territory. Novelty is limited as it's an extension of an established TV universe following familiar superhero rescue beats, though Mr. Freeze remains a compelling villain. The ending resolves satisfyingly without overstaying its welcome.
