A live-action TV movie adaptation of the Ben 10 cartoon that hits familiar beats without distinguishing itself. The plot is a straightforward alien-invasion-stopwatch story with little depth or surprise, and the acting from the young cast and villain is serviceable but unremarkable. The CGI-live action hybrid visuals are competent for a TV movie budget but nothing special. As a based-on-cartoon adaptation it offers little novelty beyond the source material's already-established concept, and the ending resolves predictably without lasting impact. Solidly mediocre across the board.
