Needing good PR, a snooty princess orchestrates a brief romance with an ordinary guy. But the schlub she picks proves more resourceful than expected.
A formulaic romantic comedy premise with little to distinguish it from countless other fish-out-of-water royal romance tales. The plot follows predictable beats of class-crossing attraction, the acting is serviceable but unremarkable, and the cinematography is standard TV-movie fare. The ending provides a modestly satisfying resolution that elevates it slightly above the generic middle. Low novelty due to its thoroughly recycled concept.
