Think Like a Man Too (2014)

Quartile rating: 6/10 · 1 rating

All the couples are back for a wedding in Las Vegas, but plans for a romantic weekend go awry when their various misadventures get them into some compromising situations that threaten to derail the big event.

The Quartile Take

Think Like a Man Too is a fairly formulaic Vegas-set sequel that recycles the ensemble comedy structure of its predecessor without adding much fresh. The plot — bachelor/bachelorette parties spiraling into misadventures before a wedding — is well-worn territory executed with little originality, earning a low Novelty score. The cinematography is serviceable but unremarkable, leaning on flashy Vegas visuals without real craft. The cast retains their chemistry and deliver likable performances, keeping the film watchable, but the script gives them thin material. The ending wraps things up warmly in a crowd-pleasing if predictable way.
