In their efforts to find a safe haven from the zombie apocalypse, the gang find themselves on a deserted island. Now, they take advantage of the momentary respite to enjoy some surf, sand and bathing suits!
This OVA side story offers virtually no plot advancement — it's a beach/fanservice episode thinly connected to the main series, with the zombie apocalypse premise serving only as a framing device. The animation quality is consistent with the TV series and competently staged, but nothing exceptional. Voice acting is serviceable as expected from the main cast reprising their roles. Novelty is low since it's a formulaic fanservice OVA, a common trope in anime that adds little distinctive to the franchise. The ending resolves nothing and exists purely as a comedic non-sequitur.
