Grande, grosso e... Verdone is a modest Italian comedy anthology featuring Carlo Verdone in multiple roles across three episodes. The episodic format is a well-worn structure for Italian comedy, and the film offers little that distinguishes it from Verdone's broader catalog or Italian comic traditions. Acting carries the film, as Verdone's chameleon-like character work is his trademark strength, but the plotting across episodes is thin and predictable, the visual style is functional rather than inspired, and the endings of the individual segments leave little impression. A serviceable but unremarkable entry in the genre.
