A company retreat on a tropical island goes terribly awry.
Welcome to the Jungle is a formulaic comedy that leans on well-worn survival/corporate satire tropes without distinguishing itself in any meaningful way. The plot is predictable and thin, the acting is serviceable at best with even Jean-Claude Van Damme's self-parodying role failing to elevate the material, cinematography is functional but uninspired, and the ending resolves without any real payoff. It offers little novelty beyond its gimmick premise, delivering a by-the-numbers execution across every category.
