A direct-to-video sequel that retreads familiar emotional beats from the original without adding much new. The glitch premise is serviceable but thin, and the story feels recycled rather than inspired. Voice acting maintains decent quality carrying over from the original cast. The animation is noticeably downgraded from theatrical quality, lacking the visual polish of the original. Novelty is low as it essentially repackages the themes of family and belonging without a fresh angle.
