The Quartile Take

Justice League: War is a solid DC animated feature that adapts the New 52 Justice League origin arc with decent energy and some fun character banter, particularly between Batman and Green Lantern. However, the plot is fairly formulaic alien-invasion fare with thin motivations for Darkseid, and the team-assembly structure follows well-worn superhero genre beats. The voice acting is competent across the board, lending personality to the ensemble. The animation is slick and action-packed with fluid fight choreography typical of DC's animated movie line, though not particularly cinematic. Novelty is limited — it's a straightforward adaptation of a well-known comic run within an established animated universe framework, recycling familiar superhero team-up tropes. The ending resolves cleanly but without much surprise or emotional resonance.
