The film's concept is its strength: structuring a conversation around the electric guitar as both tool and artistic statement gives it more depth than a standard rockumentary. Acting is largely irrelevant in a documentary context, so it scores modestly. Cinematography is competent and intimate but not visually adventurous. Novelty earns a mid-range score — the three-way conversation format is reasonably distinctive, but music documentaries built around iconic musicians are hardly rare. The ending, while warm, resolves somewhat gently without a truly memorable payoff.
