Batman learns he has a violent, unruly pre-teen son, secretly raised by the terrorist group known as The League of Assassins.
Son of Batman introduces Damian Wayne to the DCAMU with decent story momentum, but the plot hits familiar beats without much surprise. The voice acting is serviceable but uneven, particularly Damian himself who comes across as grating rather than compelling. Animation is competent DC direct-to-video fare without standout visual creativity. The father-son dynamic had novelty potential but the film plays it fairly by-the-numbers for a superhero animated feature. The climax and resolution feel rushed and underwhelming, failing to capitalize on the emotional weight of the premise.
