When her husband goes missing during their Caribbean vacation, a woman sets off on her own to take down the men she thinks are responsible.
In the Blood is a serviceable but formulaic action-thriller starring Gina Carano. The plot is a predictable revenge/rescue narrative with few surprises, and the acting is generally flat beyond Carano's physical presence. The Caribbean locations provide decent visual backdrop but nothing cinematically distinguished. The film offers little novelty, recycling familiar missing-spouse thriller tropes with a female action lead being its main selling point. The ending resolves things conventionally without much impact.
