Ten years after the first American Pie movie, three new hapless virgins discover the Bible hidden in the school library at East Great Falls High. Unfortunately for them, the book is ruined, and with incomplete advice, the Bible leads them on a hilarious journey to lose their virginity.
A direct-to-video spin-off that recycles the core premise of the original American Pie almost beat-for-beat — three teenage virgins chasing sexual experience with a comedic guide — without adding meaningful new ideas, memorable characters, or distinctive craft. The plot is formulaic and predictable, the acting is serviceable at best from an unknown cast, cinematography is flat and TV-movie quality, and the ending resolves exactly as expected. Novelty scores a 1 because this is essentially a bargain-bin retread of a decade-old formula with nothing distinguishing it from countless other teen sex comedies of the era.
