After a hard day at work and a condominium-board meeting, accountant Ugo Fantozzi goes on a trip with his family. Unfortunately, he will face a nasty surprise upon his return.
A mid-series Fantozzi entry that delivers the franchise's trademark escalating humiliation comedy with solid performances from Paolo Villaggio and the ensemble, but offers little beyond recycled sketch-comedy situations familiar from earlier installments. The cinematography is functional Italian studio fare with no visual ambition. Novelty is low given its formulaic 'more of the same' structure within a well-worn series. The ending retains the bitter-comic punchline quality the series is known for, earning a slight edge.
