Franky and Krimo dream of leaving the grey grime of their neighborhood behind and of traveling to the famous and diabolical Thai beach resort of Pattaya. To get there cheaply, the two friends have the crazy idea of registering, unbeknownst to him, the local little person for the Thai Dwarf Boxing World Championship. But what was supposed to be a dream vacation will transform into the most insane and dangerous adventure of their lives.
A low-budget French comedy with a politically incorrect premise involving a little person unknowingly entered into a dwarf boxing championship in Pattaya. The plot is thin and predictable, following a familiar fish-out-of-water adventure structure with few surprises. Acting is serviceable but unremarkable, in line with the film's modest ambitions. Cinematography is functional at best, though the Pattaya setting provides some visual color. The novelty score gets a slight bump for the specific and absurd premise and exotic locale, even if the execution is formulaic. The ending resolves the chaos without much satisfaction. Overall a forgettable mid-tier comedy that delivers below-average results across most dimensions.
